You've never seen anything quite like it. Neither have we.
We're building something the industry has never seen before. Payload-centric design. Light-as-air airframe. Field-repairable in minutes. Modular everything. Every test flight teaches us what's possible. This isn't about perfecting old models, it's about discovering what comes next.
MADE IN AMERICA
Nearly every component is designed and 3D-printed at our Upstate New York facility: modular truss, payload bay, propellers, connectors, landing gear, and housings. We only purchase unavoidable components like motors and batteries from NDAA-compliant U.S. manufacturers. Complete in-house production means total design freedom, traceability, and transparency.
BLUE LIST
Modovolo is committed to full NDAA and Blue UAS compliance. Every electronic component, data link, and software element is verified free of foreign influence and meets U.S. Department of Defense standards. Defense and public safety agencies can trust that every system is designed, built, and assembled domestically using vetted sources.
NO EXOTIC PARTS
We've reduced our drone to the fewest parts possible. Each component is purposeful, durable, and field-repairable. No exotic components. No supply chain dependencies. No tariff exposure. Every element can be printed, repaired, or sourced domestically. True innovation removes complexity rather than adding it. Simple to maintain, affordable to scale, entirely American-made.

PAYLOAD-TO-DRONE WEIGHT RATIO
What the drone can carry against its own body weight matters. Modovolo achieves a payload-to-drone weight ratio of 0.85, carrying 4.6 kg against a 5.4 kg airframe. That's 85% of its own weight as usable payload. Most commercial drones manage only 10% to 30%. We've been relentless in ensuring our payload-first architecture maximizes the payload we can carry vs the drone itself. Yup, we sweat the little stuff.
SCALABLE ARCHITECTURE
Every Modovolo Lift configuration is built on the same payload-centric design principles and modular truss approach. While the illustrations below are conceptual, we know it's worth exploring. Adding rotors for redundancy and lift capacity will allow us to build on the existing quadcopter in a meaningful way. In the field, this means your field technicians learn one design language, one repair methodology, and one system architecture, making fleet management simpler as you scale.
