You've never seen anything quite like it. We haven't either.
We're building something the industry has never seen before. Payload-centric design. Light-as-air airframe. Modular everything. Field-repairable in minutes. Every test flight teaches us what's possible. This isn't about perfecting the past, it's about discovering what comes next. Fly with us.
MADE IN AMERICA
At Modovolo, nearly every visible component of our drones is designed by us from scratch and printed by us at our facility in Upstate New York. This is one of the biggest reasons we created our own proprietary 3D printer — to have full control over every manufactured part. This includes things like the modular truss, payload bay, propeller blades, connectors, landing gear, housings, etc. We only purchase unavoidable components like motors, controllers, and battery cells, all sourced from trusted U.S. or NDAA-compliant manufacturers. By producing almost every part in-house, we’ve achieved unmatched design freedom, traceability, and self-reliance, proving that an American-made drone can be both advanced and entirely transparent.
BLUE LIST
Modovolo is committed to achieving full NDAA and Blue UAS compliance, ensuring every system component aligns with U.S. Department of Defense standards for trusted, secure technology. “Blue List” or Blue UAS Cleared List compliance means the aircraft’s electronics, data links, and software are verified free of foreign influence. This provides end users, particularly defense and public safety agencies, with the assurance that every Modovolo system is designed, built, and assembled in the United States using vetted American-sourced components.
NO EXOTIC PARTS
We’ve reduced our drone architecture to the fewest parts possible, with each part carefully considered and re-considered to be purposeful, durable, and repairable in the field. There are no exotic or proprietary components that create supply chain dependency, tariff exposure, or inflated costs. Every element can be printed, repaired, or sourced domestically without compromise. This minimalist, modular approach reflects our core philosophy: true innovation means removing complexity, not adding it, building a drone that’s simple to maintain, affordable to scale, and entirely made in America.

TEST PILOTS WANTED
The Modovolo Lift platform represents a new era of modular, payload-centered drone design. Our Quadcopter-X is now ready for test flights, marking the first phase of our scalable drone architecture to move from development to air. We’re actively welcoming licensed Part 107 pilots to participate in our flight test and feedback program. Your flight data, insights, and use cases will help shape the future of the Modovolo drone platform as we refine on design, engineering, and performance.
