Modovolo Appoints Michael Ott to Board of Directors

Utica, NY — Modovolo, an early-stage U.S.-based drone technology startup, is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Ott to its Board of Directors.

Michael Ott  is the founding CEO and current Board Member  of Rantizo, the nation’s largest  drone spraying company. Rantizo was founded in Iowa City, IA in 2018 and has expanded operations to over 30 states. Before Rantizo, Ott worked in corporate venture capital backed by Monsanto, Novozymes, and Bunge and invented a patented technology that delivers tiny amounts of nitrogen on a rice seed as it grows. He has a Master’s degree in bioinorganic chemistry from the University of Iowa.

At Modovolo, Michael’s leadership will help shape how Modovolo will revolutionize how Modovolo drones will redefine use cases for drone technology that address specific challenges in agriculture and the potential for technology to drive positive change and business outcomes.
